Armageddon

Armageddon

Scientist meddle with natures power
Building weapons that make people cower
Armies ready on their countries command
Spreading fear and confusion through out the land
Men must learn the world is not a toy
It is not theirs to burn or destroy
Men dressed in their uniforms and masks
Their arms are ready to face their tasks
Ultra sounds travel swift unheard its true
There's no sight nor sound no hint or clue
Death strikes so rapidly from out of the blue
It appears so ghostly fast yes its true
Atomic particles travel faster than the speed of light
Uniforms collapse no bodies left in sight
Just disappeared with out a trace into the night
So farewell my friends to the human race
As atomic dust sweeps across the earths face
Weeping children they search for their mother
While races just fight and try to kill each other
Those who die but not by mans hand
Killed by fire and floods which sweep the land
Earth it cries out as its core churns in pain
Spewing out its deadly cloud of lava rain
Its surface erupts with an almighty roar
Clouds of volcanic dust and ash in the air do soar
Carrying it far across the land and the sea
People who only seek to live in a world thats free
One thats free from war and tyranny
A world full of love, peace, joy and serenity
Not a world where they have to hide and live in fear
Of those who would enslave them
